On Site 4Test Language Training Course Information:

Class Description: (equivalent to 4Test Silk class) 

This two-day, hands-on course focuses on the SilkTest 4Test scripting language. Features such as declaring variables in order to enhance testcase functionality, branching and looping statements, will be introduced and used to. Additional topics include debugging testcases, using and creating functions to simplify reuse, handling errors, writing data driven testcases, storing and retrieving data from functions, external files, and testplans.

Software testers, engineers who are responsible for testing GUI applications and who are interested in learning one of the most advanced and powerful test tools on the market.

Skills the students will learn:

• How declaring / using variables works in the 4Test Language.
• Understand 4Test data types
• Creating functions.
• Developing branches, loops, and switch statements.
• Understanding how the debugger works.
• Using the 4-test language
